Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team in Columbia City, Indiana, where you will play a crucial role as an assembler, contributing to the manufacturing of Sonobuoys for the United States Navy. These small buoys are deployed from military aircraft into oceans to detect enemy ships, aircraft, and submarines. Your responsibilities will include assembling the buoy systems using small hand/power tools, reading work orders, and interpreting print documents. We are committed to employee growth and diversity in roles, frequently rotating tasks on the assembly line to provide a varied work experience. Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Columbia City, Indiana.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site role in Columbia City, Indiana, offering a temperature-controlled and exceptionally clean work environment. Our plant floor is one of the nicest in the area. Working hours are from 5:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, with potential Friday shifts for overtime. We offer two 10-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The pay rate for this position is $19.20 per hour.
