Position: Scheduler I – Columbia Falls

Division : Planning & Analysis

Department : Operations

Schedule : Full-Time

Reports To : Operations Planning Manager

The purpose of the Scheduler is to support Nomad’s Operations department with the following tasks and administrative activities.

Essential Functions / Responsibility:

  • Distribute production schedules or work orders to

  • Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material

  • Confer with department supervisors and others to assess progress and needed scheduling

  • Help with revision of production schedules due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with Management, Marketing, Sales, Production, and

  • Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to customer and Nomad standards and

  • Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be

  • Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, transportation, personnel schedules, or purchase, maintenance, or repair

  • Maintain files, such as production schedules and efficiency

  • Help plan production commitments or timetables for business units or specific projects using sales

  • Establish and prepare information on the required number of workers

  • Compile and provide documentation and information to account for delays or changes to cost

  • Prepare reports and schedules for leadership review using advanced excel

  • Additional duties as

    Basic Knowledge Desired:

  • Understand the Nomad Core Values and apply them

  • Knowledge of

  • raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of Nomad’s

  • business and management principles involved in production planning, resource allocation, production methods, and the coordination of people and

  • principles and processes for providing customer services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer

  • Able to correctly enter electronic data as well as keep information documented and filed on

  • Able to manage one’s own time around others’ Able to complete your tasks in an efficient, prioritized order.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and The employee is rarely required to lift 20 pounds.

    Working Environment:

  • Fast-paced environment, open-concept office area, interacts regularly with the Production

  • All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times on the Production

    Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Graduate, diploma or GED Additional college education preferred.

  • At least 2 years of documented, successful experience in a similar

  • Previously documented, successful experience using a scheduling or project management software is

  • Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft

  • Valid driver’s
