Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Deputy Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to support the growth and execution of Parsons projects supporting the Marine Corps.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of cybersecurity professionals, engineers, and support staff.

  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, Marine Corps stakeholders, and other relevant parties.

  • Provide regular updates, reports, and briefings to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and contingency plans.

  • Ensure the project adheres to all relevant Marine Corps, Department of Defense (DoD), and federal cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations.

  • Maintain compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and RMF.

  • Oversee project budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.

  • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

  • Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain project quality.

  • Identify training needs and opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Facilitate training sessions and professional development activities.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or PMP.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.

  • Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management.

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges and obstacles.

  • Capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.

  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.

  • Knowledge of network architecture, systems administration, and software development.

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
