TEKsystems Desktop Support Technician in Columbia, Maryland

Description:

Our client is looking to add Desktop Technician to support end users working out of their Data Center in Columbia, MD. This location has been repurposed for all 600 internal IT Staff to utilize for meetings and to work out of daily. On any given day there can be as many as 100 end users working out of this site. The team is responsible for deploying devices for new hires as well as managing off boarding for employees leaving the organization. This team deploys over 90% of devices to about 4,000 end users. Once the technician has deployed the device they are responsible for shipping it out to the end user and remotely onboarding them with their device once it has been received.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

The perfect resource will have prior experience supporting regular new user deployments as well as device intake from users leaving the organization. Ability to manage a heavy workload while also supporting onsite end users with incidents the arise on a daily basis.
