Aston Carter Senior Accounts Payable Associate in Columbia, Maryland

Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable AssociateJob Description

The Senior Accounts Payable Associate is a critical role, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Team Lead. The successful candidate will provide support for all corporate departments and branch offices, primarily responsible for processing and resolving issues related to check requests, vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements. Essential duties include monitoring and posting daily integrated Accounts Payable invoice batches, processing stop payment requests, cleared check copies and voided checks, maintaining vendor records, processing manual check requests and cashier’s checks, reviewing, approving and allocating p-card transactions for Accounts Payable p-card and assisting in the timely processing of employee expense reports in the Concur system. The position will also involve other duties as assigned.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Columbia, Maryland and some days remote.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a high volume environment, dealing with a variety of tasks that require a high level of detail and organization. The role involves working with a range of different systems, including Great Plains and Excel, and requires experience in an automated accounts payable system, an electronic invoicing system, and an employee expense report processing system.
