Job Description

The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing accounting functions in the General Ledger and Treasury categories.

Responsibilities:

 Prepare daily cash report package, including reconciliation of affiliate A/R.

 Ensure accurate coding for items posted to the general ledger.

 Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly and address variances.

 Maintain asset listing and depreciation schedules.

 Prepare monthly and quarterly bank compliance reports to ensure adherence to covenants.

 Assist in preparing financial statements per firm guidelines and requirements.

 Manage journal entries, invoices, and account reconciliations for monthly and annual close.

 Assist in developing and maintaining general ledger expense allocation methods across multiple offices.

 Perform ongoing financial analysis of operational functions.

 Facilitate and track tax payments to federal, state, and local entities.

 Maintain positive pay files for checks and ACH transactions.

Target pay between $65-$80K w/bonus

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree required.

 High proficiency with Excel and other financial applications.

 CPA preferred but not required. null
