We are looking for a Production Scheduler I for the Principe Columbia site that:

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Scheduler is responsible for overseeing integration of demand management, inventory management, production scheduling and all operational information for the facility. The scope includes all aspects of demand planning, inventory distribution and working with the facility so “top to bottom” information matches. Will support S & OP plans to deliver on annual, and long-term financial goals. Will have exposure to all functional activities on the business including New Products, Sales, Scheduling, and Finance, which results in a holistic approach to driving business growth.

Salary range: $46,342 to $78,781

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Engage with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain leaders to evaluate forecasts vs. actual sales (volume, trends, and mix)

Responsible for laying out daily and weekly production schedule for the facility

Manage raw material and finished goods inventories to maintain order fill rates and minimize aged inventories

Working hand in hand with production leaders to coordinate optimum product mix

Scheduling packaging/slicing lines and finished product mix

Manage Customer Orders to recognize trends, and make appropriate adjustments to accommodate customer demands, and communicate adjustments to appropriate teams

Consolidation of all plant production information (by SKU) into product groups, categorized by the S & OP

Engage with Plant Operations to confirm feasibility of meeting forecasts or to identify gaps

Maintain data within Scheduling system; recognize/communicate constraints; capacities and accurate forecasts

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Facilitate discussions between Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to develop mitigation plans for anticipated supply gaps

Facilitate all monthly Functional S&OP meetings, including supply and inventory reviews, and the end-of process reviews with organizational executives on sales plans, issues, and mitigating actions

Develop new and/or improved tools to ensure timely measurement, reporting, and visibility to Product Supply status to all cross functional stakeholders

Generation of S & OP reports

Communicate potential issues to the business and mix opportunities

Coordination and integration of all new products, into the S & OP

Follow monthly, weekly and daily procedures

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Logistics, Data Analysis, Operational Planning preferred); but combination of education and experience will be considered

CSCP or APICS certification a plus

Minimum 3 years Supply Chain & Operations work experience, preferably in food manufacturing industry

SAP IBP experience a plus

MS office with proficiency in Excel and Power Point,

Experience with forecast modeling tools is required

Must be analytical and detail oriented

Strong understanding of the purpose of an S&OP process and how it is executed

Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics in order to expose tradeoffs and options with Sales, Marketing and internal/external supply chain partners to maximize revenue potential

Relationship skills sufficient to develop a network of collaborative colleagues within other organizational areas and at the manufacturing facilities

Communication and analytical capabilities sufficient to distill large amounts of data and complex factors into language that stakeholders can understand and use to make decisions

Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner

Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills
