What You Will Do:

The Associate Director, Materials Planning & SIOP plans, designs and executes strategies that are directly related to the physical creation of products and the functional operation of the facilities. The Associate Director, Materials Planning & SIOP Manages multiple teams led by managers and/or supervisors in Materials Planning and SIOP.

  • Owns and develops critical strategic and short to medium-term operational goals including storing and shipping products, activity planning, responding to highly complex inquiries, and ensuring the highest quality of work. Leads in the implementation of inventory control reports and manuals.

  • Leads in the implementation of plans and prepares data for purchased parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as required; spearheads the implementation of the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.

  • Leads the execution of continuous management for the master demand schedule, including adherence to required validations using the best information available.

  • Directs the transportation and delivery of inter/intra-plant parts and outbound finished products; may oversee the management of inter/intra-plant work in process (WIP), promise dating, and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.

  • Accountable for tracking and shipping process; leads in the implementation of plans to minimize risks for shortages and ensures successful customer delivery.

  • Travel up to 25% expected for this role

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management or quality environment or a Master's degree and 10 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management or quality environment

  • Experience with leading teams

  • U .S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

    Qualifications We Prefer:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
