Mgr II Sales Support - GA Sales Service Support

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will must live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations listed on this requisition.

The Mgr II Sales Support is responsible for managing the activities within a sales support unit. They will lead a team that functions at the forefront of our Medical and Specialty RFP quoting process. The associate will interact with key stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our proposal and quotation processes.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develops processes for consistency.

  • Manages sales support activities which may include one or more of the following functions: broker call center, sales support staff, field service, sales training and technology, broker administration, proposals, product development, or material distribution.

  • Partners with key stakeholders on strategic business decisions and workflows.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements :

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

  • Proven healthcare leadership experience, preferably in managing RFP or quotation-centric roles preferred.

  • Detailed understanding and experience in the RFP quoting process is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in process-driven roles and the ability to streamline operations and enhance efficiency is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.

  • Proven ability in collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts towards common goals strongly preferred.

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, strong executive presence with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties highly preferred.

  • Experience and knowledge of Salesforce, WGS, Employer Access, Abacus, SharePoint, and/or Com2 strongly preferred.

  • Proficient of Microsoft Office products, most notably in PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word strongly preferred.
