Prepares detailed Numerical Control Programs for use on CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery; designs processing and manufacturing sequences; revises and/or updates programs to meet engineering or product changes or for efficiency gains. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: I. Prepare programs for EIA machines, also known as EIA/ISO machine programming or G-code II. Maintain organized files with appropriate part information III. Work with manufacturing and engineering personnel to develop efficient work-holding methods IV. Edit programs on the manufacturing floor using machine specific programming methods V. Prepare/process drawings to aid in manufacturing of product VI. Control programs/process drawings (revision levels, etc.) VII. Prepare overlays for inspection of part VIII. Maintain open communication with production personnel to ensure accurate programming information is provided IX. Responsible to adhere to the company Quality Policy, and to understand and follow all applicable Quality Work Instructions and Procedures X. Other duties as assigned SKILLS, EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION: • Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification. • Two-year vocational training is preferred JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 2 years N/C Programming experience plus related Machine Shop Experience • CAD / CAM Software experience is preferred. • Preferred - Machining background experience in CNC machining experience • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to the aerospace industry • Ability to program, set-up and run jobs unsupervised; including, fixturing, open set-ups, and trouble-shoot set-ups • Advanced level skills in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges • Strong Blueprint reading and strong understanding of GD&T interpretation and application • In-depth knowledge and ability to understand G and M codes, plus strong editing of programs as needed on and off the machine. • Be able to perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately • Strong communication skills, verbal and non-verbal. • Proficient in computer applications Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
