This is a job for a Remote Systems Manager with a company located in the Jackson, MS area.

Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of desktop support technicians. Oversee daily desktop support operations, including desktop hardware and software inventory, issue resolution, and escalation processes. Monitor and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead IT projects related to desktop support, including hardware and software, migrations, and deployments. Manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software. Assess system performance identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to legal and company guidelines. Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, incident trends, and service metrics. Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems. Ensure timely procurement, deployment, and replacement of equipment. Maintain accurate documentation for all support processes, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field AND 4+ years of IT experience in Information Desktops, Printers, Technology Systems. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional support experiences. Ability to effectively manage time. Energetic, able to switch gears quickly from task to task. Desire to learn; independently and on the job. US Citizenship is required.
