Electrical Superintendent:

The Superintendent holds a field management role responsible for overseeing field operations and managing customer field relations. This includes managing construction activities to ensure adherence to company procedures and maintaining compliance.

What Do You Offer Us:

  • Coordinate and lead utility projects, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders.

  • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and supervise utility crews.

  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct meetings, and ensure cost-effective operations.

  • Manage budgets, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

  • Facilitate communication, maintain records, and generate reports.

  • Implement emergency response plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and identify training needs.

  • Oversee project execution, prioritize safety, lead crews, and manage employee relations.

  • Act as a point of contact with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Analyze processes for continuous improvement and demonstrate flexibility in duties.

  • Manage planning and execution of projects, organize work methods, and develop schedules.

  • Oversee field deliverables, manage financial components, lead safety efforts, and foster positive relations.

  • Conduct employee reviews, identify training opportunities, and monitor subcontractor activities.

  • Able to travel and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must possess an electrical license in Nebraska or reciprocal state.

  • Management experience and experience overseeing projects.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3-5 years of field experience or military equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Proficient in computer skills and/or various computer software.

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

  • Successful completion of DOT drug screen and background check.

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.

  • Maintain and enhance knowledge in gas distribution, pipeline, and underground electric safety.

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
