Medical Interpreter - Interpreting Services - FT/PT

32-40 hrs/wk; variable shifts, 5 days/wk. Provides direct interpretation services for patients/families, staff, physicians and other health care providers. Must be absolutely fluent and proficient in written and spoken language skills in both Spanish and English. Fluency in additional dialects and languages preferred. Must have completed Medical Interpreter class(s) or meet requirements to complete 40-hour Medical Interpreter training class. Previous experience in Interpreting/Medical Interpreting preferred. Basic reading and writing skills necessary to record visits/interactions, filing, typing and copying as typically acquired through a HS/GED. Must be able to comprehend medical terminology. Must have a valid NE drivers license and be able to utilize own transportation during work time.
