Accenture Business Architecture Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Business Architecture Manager (Accenture LLP; Columbus, OH): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Business Architecture Manager in Columbus, OH, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Define, analyze, solve, and document the business requirements and processes for SAP Finance solutions for Accenture or our clients’ program/project specifications and objectives, spanning smaller SAP projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs.

  • Gather and analyze information to define and review project specifications and requirements.

  • Write functional specifications using cases and requirements that describe the necessary system changes or new system features.

  • Develop strategy and functionality, and demonstrate functional solutions to business, IT client, and the development team, including reporting and implementation of procedures and processes across SAP Finance areas.

  • Provide functional support to the development team to use the functional specifications and requirements to develop technical solutions.

  • Identify and assess complex problems, and create solutions that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors and will be implemented by the team.

  • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

  • Lead a team of SAP Finance functional analysts providing day-to-day production support of multiple SAP systems. Serve as the primary client point of contact for all SAP Finance related issues and drive the team to meet all SLA and client requirements.

  • Provide financial quality assurance reviews for auditing and ongoing engagements and overall functional oversight for all SAP Finance support and projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Business, Finance, Accounting or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Defining SAP Finance functional design, workflow, and components;

  • Working with global teams and business users for coordination of day-to-day activities and the delivery of projects;

  • Performing testing of SAP upgrades and Service Pack installs;

  • Providing SAP Finance production support for the following applications: SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4, SAP GL, SAP AP/AR, ECC, Biller Direct, and SAP ByDesign;

  • Working with SAP, Paymetric, and Serrala, to solve complex finance issues; and

  • Creating and maintaining finance system monitoring.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Designing, architecting, configuring, coding, and testing Finance processes for SAP Finance ECC and SAP Finance S/4 Environments;

  • Performance analysis for key financial processes that support month/quarter/year end closing; and

  • Managing a team of delivery resources supporting SAP Finance operations in 24X7 environments.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
