TEKsystems Business Systems Analysts in Columbus, Ohio
Description
The Business System Analyst reports to the CTMS (OnCore) Administrator with a focus on the support of the enterprise level Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) for Facility and other entities. Functions as a Business Systems Analyst supporting the OnCore Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) and end-user training for the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center and other entities as required. Provides technical advice, expertise and support to end-users on the OnCore CTMS and its features; formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable CTMS systems, clinical research, and industry requirements; collaborates with OnCore team, researchers, and clinical trial offices to access and identify data requirements for research protocols to produce required reporting and documentation of clinical trial activities and patient demographics; develops and recommends possible solutions to resolve moderately complex issues with functionality, reporting or data integrity; provides insight and direction related to training requirements; serves as a technical contributor in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of training programs; leads and conducts ongoing end-user system training; designs, creates and establishes formal training manuals; provides day-to-day system support; works with information technology staff to develop, analyze, test and implement upgrades, patches, or changes to functionality; participates on CTMS initiatives and projects; collaborates with Oncore System Administrator in the development, implementation and evaluation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures); serves as primary liaison to information technology staff, CTMS vendor, clinical trial officers, and end users. Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in computer & information science Required Qualifications Bachelors in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in business or research management systems analysis required; experience gathering & understanding business and tech requirements required; background in clinical research environment and familiarity with clinical trial language desired; ability to navigate complex clinical trial protocols; 2 years data analysis experience; experience working with & developing case report form content; experience with highly dimensional data warehouses/repositories; experience using business intelligence and/or report formatting tools; requires successful completion of a background check; pre-employment physical, including a drug screen may be required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
