Job Description:

Job Title: Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist Location: Columbus, OH Contract: 3 month Contract to Hire Pay: $15-$17/hr Primary responsibilities of this role are:

  • Analyze collateral documentation and loan information in the banks servicing system (Hogan) and as needed, update collateral records in loan servicing system
  • Follow up with business partners regarding missing or insufficient documents
  • Research and verify lien position on UCCs and titles for loans secured by RVs, vehicles and boats and also analyze loan status to determine the appropriate resolution
  • Prepare customer communication
  • Manage workflow to ensure SLAs are met or exceeded.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Assist with other collateral related tasks as needed (including continuations of UCCs, or other ongoing maintenance)
  • Work with outside agencies (Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Clerk of courts, lending institutions and dealers) to resolve problems
  • Some clerical/administrative functions including receipt of documents, department mail delivery, and other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year experience in a customer service related position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access -- Ability to create and edit basic Word and Excel documents.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem solving ability
  • Prior customer service experience is helpful
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Demonstrated dependability (attendance)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adhering to established SLA targets and quality requirements
