JPMorgan Chase Customer Profitability Lead - Vice President in Columbus, Ohio

Join as the Customer Profitability Lead and you will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on how we assess customer profitably across Consumer and Community Banking lines of business.

As a Vice President and Customer Profitability Lead within Consumer and Community Banking, you will play a crucial role in increasing the consistency of expense, revenue and profitability calculations across Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) line of businesses. Cross-product customer profitability (OneChase Profit and Loss and Franchise Value) is an increasing focus on senior leadership and critical to targeting new customer segments, maximizing returns, optimizing marketing, operations, channels and capital, partnering with all line of business (LOB) Chief Financial Officer (CFO) teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with CCB LOB CFOs and Treasury to increase the consistency of expense, revenue, balance sheet, and profitability calculations across LOBs.

  • Partner with Finance Data & Insights Area Product Owners and Customer Account Reporting Infrastructure (CARI) leads to understand the current state definitions for customer profitability, identify areas of difference, and plan workshops, design sessions and other activities required to make CCB wide decisions.

  • Define cross-product calculation requirements, create sample calculations, participate in development and delivery of profitability data to Finance teams and other consumers of this information (e.g. Marketing, Data & Analytics, etc.)

  • Builds and maintains excellent cross-functional partnerships

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • 6+ years of professional experience in a finance / planning role in banking or financial services

  • Experience handling large amounts of data, analyzing P&L and balance sheet drivers

  • Experience in the consolidation, review, analysis and presentation of Financials

  • Experience with financial systems such as CARI, Essbase, and ICDW

  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables

  • Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills

  • Highly organized and obsesses over the details

  • Ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables at same time

Candidates must be able to physically work in office in Columbus, OH 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
