Job Description

Shift

• Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5:30 pm or other hours/schedules as needed to support the business need

• Must be flexible in working later shift or weekend hour to accommodate any mandatory training for new hires

  Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Ohio department managers to determine training needs

• Design effective training programs for Pharmacy Technicians & Pharmacists

• Train and support new Pharmacy Technicians & Pharmacists

• Conduct routine audits for all operational modules for training needs

• Ability to identify retraining opportunities

• Implement new process and policies at discretion of leadership

• Knowledge of Pharmacy Workflow, including Floor, Data Entry, Pharmacist, etc.

• Performs ongoing assessment, monitor and guide new and existing employees

• Work with internal teams to effectively resolve issues

• Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct with employees

• Thrive as a team player in a fast paced, high energy, change oriented environment

• Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to including HR, Operations, etc.

• Administer records of all trainings, in-services required by Company policies and local, state, federal laws, rules and regulations

• Perform other related duties and assignments as required and assigned by the Director of Pharmacy Operations

Requirements

• Must meet all the required qualifications

• Licensed Certified Pharmacy Technician with Ohio Board of Pharmacy

• H.S. diploma or equivalent

• Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred

• Frameworks / ECM / Docutrack experience

• Must be enthusiastic and comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people

• Proficient in MS Office a plus

• Ability to be mobile in performing job duties

• Approximately 10% travel required
