WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB: Join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team as a Director of Engineering, where you'll help lead the modernization and transformation of our data and reporting capabilities across various verticals. This role is pivotal in implementing cutting-edge data architecture. As a Director of Engineering, you will lead and inspire a team of data engineers to build scalable data pipelines, enhancing data management, analytics, and reporting efficiency. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to develop, maintain, and improve data solutions. Additionally, you will help drive software automation initiatives supporting CI/CD adoption and DevOps maturity, with a strong focus on automated testing practices. You will help develop best practices for the software development life cycle, change management, and production incident resolution as well as contribute to tools analysis and establishment of engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an engineering leader with a passion for data and data strategy. A strong background in data warehousing and the ability to guide teams in building scalable data solutions is essential. Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and engineering teams are also necessary. The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours.
