Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in Columbus, Ohio

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II based in Columbus, Ohio. This role is crucial in providing technical end-user support within the IT industry. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for technical support requests and will be instrumental in maintaining optimal performance of hardware and IT equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for technical support requests received via phone, email, or other methods.

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

• Assist with the deployment and upgrading of various devices including laptops, PCs, tablets, among others.

• Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions to resolve issues.

• Maintain accurate documentation related to resolutions and root cause analyses.

• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT resources as necessary.

• Follow established procedures to resolve user issues and keep IT requests updated with status updates and accurate notes.

• Utilize technical knowledge to take ownership of requests, resulting in resolution, delegation, or coordination of efforts with IT management.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the status of those accounts.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Deployments Requirements • Possess strong skills in Android Development

• Proficient in working with Cisco Technologies

• Demonstrated expertise in Citrix Technologies

• Familiarity with Database management and operations

• Experience with EO/IR systems is required

• Proficient in managing Active Directory

• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining Apple Devices

• Ability to handle Computer Hardware and troubleshoot issues

• Solid knowledge of Configuration Management
