Learn from qualified staff and build long-term relationships in the field of Civil Engineering Ability to cross-train or shadow with other departments within our firm Professional Development and Mentorship Collaboration on high-profile real-life projects in your community Scholarship and networking opportunities Responsibilities Responsibilities in our Investigative Group Assist Senior Staff in performing a wide range of forensic investigations related to damage and deterioration structures and physical condition assessment studies Assist Senior Staff in developing designs to repair or restore existing wood, masonry, concrete and steel structures Writing technical reports Will utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce digital drawings and models Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited engineering school; other degrees will be considered based on relevant experience AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is a plus Certification - Highly preferred - Engineering intern (passed NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering {FE} exam) Reliable transportation to and from office location Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things Physical Requirements: Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs Ability/willingness to climb ladders and scaffolding, work from heights, walk roofs, access crawl spaces and other areas of limited accessibility American Structurepoint is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
