Machine Operator - Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join a local Columbus, OH team. This role involves operating mesh welders, handling materials, and utilizing various tools to ensure efficient production while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

  • Job Description: Machine Operator
  • Shift:6:30pm to 7 am
  • Pay: $19.00 - $22.00

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operated machines and handled materials, focusing on loading mesh and wire and catching parts to stack them on skids.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Utilize computer-operated equipment as needed.
  • Ensure the quality of work meets established standards.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Adhere to safe work practices in compliance with O.S.H.A. regulations.
  • Operate various machines and assist in different departments as required.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Meet or exceed production goals and ensure order commitments are fulfilled.
  • Follow process monitoring instructions accurately.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, or management.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Proficient in using a micrometer and tape measure.
  • Capable of heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality
