Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join one of the largest wire and steel fabricators in the United States. The company specializes in manufacturing light and heavy-duty wire mesh decking, flue spacers, dividers, gridwall/slatwall, mine mesh, fencing, and more. The starting rate for this position depends on experience but begins at $23/hr.
Responsibilities
Fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments.
Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
Use machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision metal parts.
Plan and carry out the operations needed to make machined products that meet precise specifications.
Rebuild small cylinders and components of machines.
Essential Skills
Knowledge and experience with lathe, mills, and precision grinders.
Proficiency in surface plate inspections.
Knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, layouts, and machining procedures.
Familiarity with CNC (Haas and/or Accurite) operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with micrometers and other precision measuring tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00
