Modern Alternative Mama, LLC Maintenance Supervisor in Columbus, Ohio

Earthley Wellness is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our facilities and equipment maintenance. This role is integral to ensuring that all aspects of our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with the Operations Manager, third-party companies, and our team members to implement and manage preventative maintenance processes, maintain inventory levels for spare parts, and ensure the smooth integration of new machinery and equipment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, implement, and oversee all preventative maintenance processes and schedules using IOS for facilities equipment and specialty manufacturing equipment. Ensure all preventative maintenance tasks are completed to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Act as the main point of contact between Earthley and third-party companies for maintenance tasks that fall outside our internal capabilities. Provide the Operations Manager with multiple quotes to ensure maintenance work is carried out cost-effectively and within budget. Execute approved maintenance projects.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts, including ordering when necessary. Ensure that stock for wear and tear parts is regularly available and oversee the tracking of parts ordering and usage.
  • Ensuring that equipment remains in optimal operating condition.
  • Responsible for installing change parts within scope and as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager on the movement, sale, adjustment, or other changes to existing equipment.
  • Act as the primary contact between our organization and the Landlord for all maintenance-related matters.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager for the arrival of new machinery, ensuring all technical setups (electrical, air, plumbing, space, etc.) are arranged prior to arrival. Engage third-party contractors as needed.
  • Conduct training for production and maintenance staff on new equipment. Participate in training sessions with equipment technicians for newly arrived equipment.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot any maintenance-related issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
  • Responsible for approving work done by Maintenance Associates

     

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance processes and the ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Familiarity with IOS and want to be familiar with our intended operating systems (Protracker, Existing Maintenance Log). Prefer experience with maintenance asset software Limble and Maintenance X.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, management, and external parties.
