Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG/Fluxcore Welder to join our team at our Huntley Road site, where we manufacture large industrial scales for the trucking and aggregate industry. This position is for the 2nd shift, where you will be welding mild steel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and Fluxcore welding on mild steel.

  • Fabricate and weld structural and stainless steel components according to blueprints.

  • Grind and finish welds to meet project specifications.

  • Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding.

  • Experience with Fluxcore welding.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Experience in welding structural and stainless steel.

  • Knowledge of GMAW, fabrication, and grinding techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in welding or relevant schooling.

  • Capability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Work Environment

This is a non-climate controlled metal fabrication shop that is very clean and organized. Candidates must be okay with working in an environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The 1st shift runs from 5AM to 1:30PM, Monday through Friday. The 2nd shift runs from 3PM to 1:30AM, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of staying late or moving to five 10-hour shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of COLUMBUS, OH

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
