Insight Global Onsite - Industrial Project Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager to work onsite in Columbus Ohio. The project manager will manage and deliver core projects for the client. They will be responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and with highest customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

* Maintain project scope, schedule, and budget from sales handover to customer acceptance

* Assess project risks and coordinate plan to mitigate

* Identify critical path items and coordinate execution to schedule

* Develop and communicate project schedule with key milestone dates to external and internal customers

* Track and communicate variances in budget throughout project life cycle

* Develop material and operational improvements with the customer to deliver superior quality systems

* Coordinate schedule execution to milestone dates with internal BIS groups including engineering, control systems, purchasing and procurement, assembly, testing, quality, logistics and technical services

* Forecast all project materials and services for expected date that Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) and related Recognized Revenue based on key milestone completion dates

* Act as key contact and face of cleint expertise in communications with customers

Salary Range: 95-125K with flexibility for the right candidate, additional bonuses

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline

  • 5 + Years of professional experience within engineering project management or similar

  • Experience within industrial, manufacturing, capital projects, assembly field

  • Mechanical or electrical Engineering experience/knowledge

  • Experience customer facing and communicating with vendors

  • Experience managing budget for projects -- specifically with external clients

  • Experience handling multiple projects at once, project budget of 2-5MIL- Experience with scheduling, forecasting, estimating for large construction or capital projects null
