Oracle Principal Product Manager (Outbound GEN AI/OCI Solutions) in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI solutions team is responsible for growing OCI’s Generative AI services and platform. Our goal is to enable customers to apply AI to solve a particular business problem with Oracle’s assistance and expertise in Generative AI. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with teams of data scientists and developers from major Fortune 100 companies to deliver solutions that delights our customers with the confidence that their data are safe and protected.

Your Opportunity

We are building a high-achieving Generative AI outbound solutions team who can help our customers on their journey to adopt OCI Generative AI services. In this role you will work closely with our strategic customers (internal and external) and partners, helping them develop end-to-end solutions to their business scenarios. You will partner closely with our engineering, product, research, and sales teams to help customers be successful using our products. You will also identify gaps in our portfolio and quickly address them with inbound product managers and engineering to ensure our customers get the best of Oracle’s Generative AI capabilities.

We’re looking for a person who will bring a passion for innovative products, strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with both customers and internal teams. You’ll have the ability to be hands-on when needed, as well as be adept at influencing multiple stakeholders without direct authority to get things done efficiently. Your Responsibilities

  • Work directly with key customers and accompany them on their AI journey – understanding their requirements, help them envision and design the right solutions

  • You will work together with their business, engineering and data science teams to remove blockers and translate feedback into actionable items

  • Design and build solutions and help customers reach successful pilots, PoCs and production deployments with Oracle Generative AI, AI Services, Data Science and other cloud technologies as necessary

  • Be an Oracle Generative AI product evangelist - engage directly with customers and partners, participate and present in external events and conferences, etc.

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience as a data science / engineering / product leader, bridging the gap between technical and business domains

  • You’ll have domain expertise in a few key industries and functions, and a growth mindset to stretch outside your comfort zone

  • Experience with machine learning / artificial intelligence and understanding of how to apply them to real world problems is required. Hands-on experience in developing and delivering data, machine learning and AI-driven solutions is desired.

  • Customer focus and narrative building along with experience working alongside enterprise customers / developers on machine learning / artificial intelligence scenarios to accelerate product adoption and usage is required.

Responsibilities

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
