JPMorgan Chase Program & Process Controls Manager - Consumer Banking in Columbus, Ohio

As a Program & Process Control Manager within Consumer Banking team, you will be responsible for working with our marketing partners, the cross lines of business partners, and supporting functional departments to drive planning, adoption, compliance, integration, and execution of high impact marketing oversight initiatives that will enable us to meet our business and strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination.

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. Facilitate communication and collaboration across work stream members. Provide clear direction and support to team members.

  • Identify the root cause of control and process breaks; provide expertise to the development of action plans to fix and / or remediate known issues.

  • Ensure strong control environment and work with teams on new controls, updates, risk mitigation, etc. by owning several control related programs and processes under your book of work responsibilities.

  • Develop a broad understanding of the diversity of work stream responsibilities within the Marketing Oversight landscape and demonstrate the ability to multi-task in supporting key program initiatives.

  • Own project timeline, risks, dependencies, and deliverables on track. Enforce use of consistent standards, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across programs.

  • Implement common, consistent routines, resources, and tools to track and report status of key programs. Develop metrics, scorecard and dashboard reporting for tracking of key initiatives leveraging common frameworks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7 years of process management experience and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes with a demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities.

  • Deep understanding of end-to-end marketing processes and activities to support and drive our departmental control agenda.

  • The ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working well under pressure with tight deadlines and the ability to pivot and remain flexible as situational circumstances present themselves.

  • High degree of comfort in fast-paced dynamic / ambiguous environment. Strong learning agility and the ability to dig for answers.

  • Strong sense of curiosity to understand a broad range of programs, processes, procedures, and the ability to connect dots and draw accurate conclusions to resolve issues and operational challenges.

  • Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and confidently, develop relationships at all levels of the organization and to work well in cross-functional teams.

  • Be able to resolve project conflicts by making decisions and through negotiations with impacted areas and management, as necessary. Ability to research issues and right size a solution as appropriate.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively to positively contribute and work within a strong, team focused environment to achieve results.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BA degree in an appropriate area of studies
