Continental Office Project Manager - Engineering Construction in COLUMBUS, Ohio

CoBuild, a brand of Continental Office is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Columbus, OH!

CoBuild is the Distribution Branch for Falkbuilt in Central Ohio. Falkbuilt's approach to interior construction combines proven construction methods with next-gen technology to build beautiful, high-performing and cost-effective environments.

What you'll love to do: Act as the central point of contact throughout the entire project life cycle; from initial client education, design and bidding, ordering and installation to the final walk-through.

We're looking for someone with construction project management experience who can oversee the full project life cycle, and someone who is adaptable and willing to embrace new technologies to help improve the design and construction process.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full project life-cycle; will ensure all projects are completed on time, on budget, and with client expectations met or exceeded.
  • Work with current and prospective clients to identify, define and execute each project's requirements, scope, and objectives during preconstruction and construction.
  • Preview, prepare and complete estimating for project proposals/plans and contracts including time frame, funding margins, procedures and scope of work.
  • Coordinate and maintain project schedules and processes for clients, architects, engineers, designers, distribution, Falkbuilt installers, state and local jurisdictions.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, on budget, and with client expectations met or exceeded.
  • Assess and develop relationships with local vendors that augment Falkbuilt's solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' project management in commercial interior construction, or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or Technical Diploma in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred.
  • Experience reading and understanding architectural and structural plans, with the ability to prepare and interpret various reports is required.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProCore, GCpay etc.), working knowledge of Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally, on a technical and professional level is required.
