Our client in the scientific industry is seeking an SAP ECC Business Requirements Analyst to join their team.

Job Title: SAP ECC Business Requirements Analyst

Location: Hybrid onsite 3 days per week in Columbus, OH

What’s the Job?

  • Lead discovery and related client engagement processes, while engaging directly in business requirements clarification and solution design for complex business needs

  • Provide thought leadership, functional input, and business value justification for solution design options for extended SAP Order to Cash business capabilities, with integrations across the business technology ecosystem

  • Ensure that solution design details reflect comprehensive business rules, process flows, use cases, and data mappings, as a solid basis for effectively and efficiently building and testing reliable solutions

  • Complete SAP ECC configuration/customization tasks; contribute to coordinated testing and deployment efforts for solutions that encompass configuration, custom development, and system integration

  • Contribute to and utilize best practices for SAP ECC implementations, as well as for proactive/reactive production support and related incident management/resolution

  • Embrace and engage in agility practices that drive continuous delivery for the cross-functional team, as based on Kanban/Jira-based workflow with associated backlog management and delivery reporting

  • Initiate and support value-based improvement efforts that evolve and enhance business requirements analysis, quality assurance, and agile delivery practices, and thus team effectiveness

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience in Information Technology field

  • 8-10 years of SAP ECC techno-functional implementation and production support experience, encompassing business requirements, solution design, system configuration, QA testing, and production issue resolution

  • Direct experience with SAP ECC functional configuration across the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Financials (FI) data architecture and functional infrastructure, including implementation of complex business rules for account/order management, billing/accounting, and related QA tools/workflows

  • Experience with eliciting and analyzing future-state business requirements, with the ability to drive investigations for automated business practices that span integrated applications and data domains

  • Self-starter with strategic thinking, conceptual/analytical capabilities, detail-oriented problem-solving skills, and personal accountability; ability to place focus on business results with solid requirements and design skills

  • Proficient with building rapport and credibility as a strategic partner with business divisions, while working with colleagues and leaders at various levels within the organization.
