Date:December 4, 2024 Location: Columbus, OH, US Job Responsibilities Utilize business intelligence platforms for advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities. Partner with stakeholders, including project leads, Data and Analytics and other business teams, to examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to internal customers such as leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and product teams; and to drive successful completion of data insight initiatives. Identify, prioritize, and execute data and analytic initiatives with clear line of sight to enterprise strategies and business outcomes. Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to technology and business regarding Hexion's analytical platforms and design and implement related services. Foster value creation using the organization's data assets, as well as external data ecosystems through data exploitation, envisioning data-enabled strategies, as well as enabling business outcomes through analytics, data governance, and enterprise information policy. Assist business and IT leadership in developing data and analytics governance and related security processes and structures. Contributive to definition of data classifications that allow information assets to be immediately identified and proactively managed; development and continual refinement of Hexion's data and systems strategies; and to the design and build of Hexion's business intelligence platform and related components, with an emphasis on sustainable architecture and data strategies. Improve business performance through enterprise information solutions and capabilities, such as master data management (MDM), metadata management, analytics, content management, data integration, and related information management or information infrastructure components. Work with stakeholders to help develop, manage, and optimize processes/pipelines for data intake, validation, mining, and engineering as well as modeling, visualization, and communication related deliverables. Develop and implement quality controls to support quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements; Execute and fine tune data request processes involving tracking requests submitted, prioritization, and approval. Requires 10% percent of domestic and international travel. Telecommuting is permitted. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or in a related field.
