JPMorgan Chase Site Reliability Engineer in Columbus, Ohio

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and implement deployment approaches using automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. Build appropriate level designs. Design, develop, test, and implement availability, reliability, scalability, and solutions in their applications. Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for the applications and platforms in your remit. Resolve complex problems. Utilize service level objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers. Support the adoption of site reliability engineering best practices within team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology Management, Electrical Engineering or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Electrical Engineering or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Designing, deploying, and managing applications in cloud platforms, including AWS or GCP; Using monitoring and alerting tools, including Splunk, Dynatrace or Grafana; Automation and scripting languages, including Python or Bash; Infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform or Cloud Formation; Containerization technologies, including Docker or Kubernetes; Managing containerized applications; and configuring and troubleshooting network load balancers and firewalls.

Job Location: 1111 Polaris Parkway., Columbus, OH 43240. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
