1 OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for a Software Programmer to join our team in Columbus, OH! As a Software Programmer you will design, develop, and maintain C# applications, manage databases and version control, ensure software quality through testing and documentation, and occasionally travel to support client installations, all while continuously learning and solving complex problems. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques. Object Oriented Programming skills including: C# generics multi-threading mocking and unit testing dependency injection XML and XSLTs Understanding of queuing systems Understanding of databases and TSQL Experience with git/GitKraken repos, and pull requests Loves learning, solving problems, and figuring out the unknown Preferred experience includes: ModBus protocol, WCF, WPF experience developing Windows applications, Web Services, Docker, gRPC Services, Agile project methodology, Linux experience, and experience writing hardware control software Proficiency in: Visual Studio 2022 Professional or Enterprise, .NET 6 Core & Framework, Azure DevOps Repos and Work Items, SQL Server 2017 or Higher, SQL Server Management Studio, IIS, Windows, PowerShell Good communicator, skilled and comfortable speaking with varied audiences Excellent documentation skills (Document, Perform, Update Documentation, Repeat) Able to communicate opinions, solicit competing alternatives and facilitate coming to consensus. Ability to travel occasionally in the continental US, to sites where software is installed.
