CAS is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for our Technology Team. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Job Summary: This Infrastructure Engineer will apply their technical expertise, analytical talent, and enthusiasm to our Technology IPS Network and Hardware Services practice area that is responsible for the complete scope and lifecycle of CAS' campus, remote office, and cloud network infrastructures. This individual will collaborate across the organization to plan, design, deploy, and maintain the network and other infrastructure services as a core element of delivering positive value and experience to CAS customers around the world. Job Accountabilities: Apply technical and professional expertise to all aspects of service delivery, support and management of enterprise data center infrastructure as required to support day-to-day operations. Participate with teammates in 24x7 on-call support to address urgent issues. Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-class infrastructure; Coordinate installation, upgrades, and maintenance activities with teammates and other stakeholders to minimize impact to business operations. Diagnose and remediate a wide variety of issues involving infrastructure, hardware, networks, software products, and the and other enterprise equipment and facilities. Arrange for delivery of parts and service with outside vendors. Participate in identification and resolution of incidents, analyze and present solutions to problems; implement changes in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with change management policies. Contribute positively to the development and operation of Products and Services to ensure that services meet delivery objectives. Develop a working knowledge of CAS' applications, products and services, and their constituencies. Identify opportunities and recommend solutions to improve team effectiveness. Participate in Technology initiatives to address service issues. Keep abreast of technical aspects of the live environment. Attend seminars and other educational opportunities; Provide specialized expertise to plans involving the campus, data center, remote offices, and their contents. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent military experience. Minimum of 2 years of work experience. Technical certifications (CCNA, CompTIA, BICSI, ITIL, IAM, etc.) are advantageous. Experience with network protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, OPSF, DHCP, DNS, HTTPS, IPv4/IPv6 Experience in the design and application of IP Classes, Subnets, Multicast, VLAN, NAT, VPN Experience with the installation and administration of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs Proficient working with multiple operating systems including Linux and Windows Perform network administration tasks, including design, specification, installation, configuration, and on-going maintenance of network technologies from multiple vendors. Participate in identification and resolution of incidents; analyze and present solutions to problems; implement complex network changes in a timely and accurate manner and with accordance with change management policies.
