With manufacturing facilities in both Colville, WA and Paxton, IL the company is well positioned for continued growth. Position will be located in Colville, WA and will support operations for two manufacturing facilities.

The company is seeking a hard-working individual to work in the Manufacturing Engineering Department. This position is full-time, $67,522 - $68,120 annually. Compensation includes medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer matching contribution, life insurance, employee assistance program, and training opportunities. Regular shifts are Monday -- Friday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with engineering and production staff to implement process improvements.
  • Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, processes, and controlled documents.
  • Participating in Lean Manufacturing Kaizen and RIP events.
  • Designing project parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
  • Writing reports and/or recommendations based on project research, testing, and results.
  • Compiling BOM's and source components for manufacturing projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Four-year technical degree preferred
  • Strong work ethic and positive work attitude
  • Ability to research, reference, and apply external codes to our application
  • Welding and Fabrication experience
  • Experience with computers, including MS Word, Excel, SolidWorks, and E-mail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills as well as technical writing ability
  • Ability to work on one project or several projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of and ability to use precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, multi-meters
  • Attention to detail is a must
