Job Title: Robotics Engineer

Job Description

This local custom machine / automation company is looking for a Robotics Engineer who will be responsible for being the expert in the Control's team projects regarding robotics.

Their Controls team is split into design and programming- the programmers know how to program and work with robots but they are limited in their bandwidth of covering the extensive robotic focused projects coming down the pipeline – this person will collaborate extensively with both of those teams.

  • Travel 25-30%

  • Half local travel, and other half elsewhere in US

  • All expenses paid

  • Hours

  • Flexible start/end times

  • Can expect 5-10 hours of OT per week

  • Position open due to current robotics focused projects sitting in the shop right now – need to add a robot focused engineer

Must Have Qualifications

  • Expert in the programming of robotics from ground up in ABB and Fanuc robots

  • Custom machine design experience

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Walker, Michigan.
