Description We are extending an invitation to dedicated individuals to apply for the role of Warehouse Team Lead based in Comstock Park, Michigan. In this position, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. This role will involve overseeing the receiving, storing, and shipping of our products, as well as ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a team of warehouse workers to achieve operational goals.

• Coordinating and overseeing receiving, storage, and distribution operations.

• Ensuring the warehouse consistently meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

• Complying with all regulatory requirements and company policies, and ensuring team members do the same.

• Conducting regular audits of warehouse operations and implementing corrective measures as needed.

• Training and mentoring warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment.

• Assisting with the planning and monitoring of warehouse inventory.

• Creating and presenting reports on warehouse performance and efficiency.

• Utilizing skills such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to manage and track warehouse operations.

• Handling customer service duties including answering inbound calls, data entry, and scheduling appointments. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls efficiently

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer queries and complaints effectively

• Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and promptly

• Experience in scheduling appointments, organizing schedules and managing time effectively

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Ability to adhere to safety procedures and regulations in the warehouse

• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Flexibility to work different shifts and extended hours when required

• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks when required

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse team lead role would be an advantage.
