NOW HIRING FOR AN OVERNIGHT SHELTER ASSOCIATE

12:00AM-8:00AM

Key Responsibilities::

  • The Overnight Shelter Associate is responsible for accurately maintaining a shift report log and documenting any events during the shift.

  • Responding to Shelter residence and forwarding them to appropriate person or department

  • The Over night Shelter Associate will help guide people to processing stations

  • Assisting emergency teams making sure families are orderly and are reporting to correct areas

  • Help residents with appointment keeping

What You Bring::

  • Bilingual Haitian or Spanish capacity is a strong plus.

  • Must be self-motivated, well-organized, punctual, and skilled at time-management.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and creatively with adults and children of varying ages.

  • Experience with emergency shelter programs for homeless and individuals including individuals who are experiencing homelessness, or mental illness,

  • High-level of comfort working within a diverse and multicultural population.

  • Ability to follow direction and guidance and work as a member of a team.
