ManpowerGroup Industrial Maintenance Tech in Concord, North Carolina

Our client, a leading food manufacturer in the Concord/Kannapolis area, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be part of a team, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Tech

Location: Concord, NC

Pay Range: Based on experience

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventative maintenance on all factory equipment

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs

  • Assemble mechanical components and electrical devices

  • Possibly perform welding and fabricating as needed

  • Proficient in at least five areas and have knowledge of the others:

  • Automated equipment operation, including setup, teardown and repair

  • Boiler operation

  • Electrical wiring

  • Hydraulics

  • Pipe fitting and plumbing

  • Pneumatics

  • Sheet metal

  • Welding

  • Shop machinery

  • PLC troubleshooting and programming

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma / equivalency or GED

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and pass a criminal background check

  • 3-5 years of experience in an Industrial Plant and/or have completed a technical program or certification in electric, welding or general machine maintenance (preferred)
