What You'll be Doing:

The Advanced Inside Sales Representative is responsible for new sales pipeline generation and communicating with high level leaders within the Finance & Information Technology space. Through various research methods and tools, utilizing our lead generation, you'll be making outbound calls to mid to large sized companies, locating the decision makers, engaging in conversation, and positioning CCH Tagetik's Corporate Performance Management software as the natural choice. The ideal candidate will have corporate B2B sales experience, be comfortable talking to high level individuals about a complex software solution and be very goal driven, w/ a hunter mindset.

*Key Tasks: *

  • Acquire new accounts and meet or exceed sales and goals

  • Have complex sales conversations

  • Learn and stay informed on the complex and comprehensive service line while following a comprehensive sales process

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline within our CRM and continuously add new accounts, within your assigned territory

  • Manage time and resources effectively while representing Wolters Kluwer within the industry and territory and contributing to sales planning and forecasting activities

  • Effectively prioritizes and responds to inbound leads or customer requests for information

  • Leverages data and account insights to identify, pursue, and book intro calls (fit calls) with new customers

  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of Tagetik software and offer a deep technical expertise within the financial and information technology space

  • Adheres to defined inside sales methodology and inside sales processes, including steps to confirm leads & intro calls

  • Understand and deliver against individual quotas

You're a Great Fit if You Have/Can:

  • A bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting) and/or a minimum of 2+ years of corporate business-to-business sales experience within the software or finance industry

  • A desire to meet and exceed sales goals/targets and have a proven track record of doing so

  • Sales process knowledge and sales closing experience

  • Experience working with a complex software solution

  • Experience working with a CRM such as Salesforce or similar preferred

  • The ability to convert leads into QSOs – qualified sales opportunities

  • A competitive nature, and are highly motivated

  • Are located within 50 miles of one of our below listed WK-CT offices and able to go into the office twice a week (locations listed below)

  • Experience selling complex software solutions within the financial industry

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $61,650-$85,200

This role is eligible for Commission.
