Robert Half Account Manager in Congers, New York

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity with a wholesale distributor partner in Rockland, New York, United States. The role is for an Account Manager. The Account Manager will be expected to work extensively in a team-oriented environment, directly interacting with customers via phone and email. This role is focused on resolving order issues, and the ideal candidate would have a strong customer service orientation and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries via phone and email • Work collaboratively with a team comprising of Customer Service Lead, other Customer Service Support, Account Managers, and Salesmen • Troubleshoot and resolve order issues to ensure customer satisfaction • Maintain and update customer records accurately and in a timely manner • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting • Ensure all customer interactions adhere to company guidelines and procedures • Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary • Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures • Collaborate with sales team to maximize customer satisfaction and drive sales growth • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of team strategies Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar role • Solid understanding of CRM software and Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Understanding of sales performance metrics • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong relationships • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts • Ability to work well in a team setting • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
