Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Clerk to join our team based out of our Rich Hill Facility located in Connellsville, PA !

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

The Plant Clerk provides general administrative support to our plant operation and personnel. The primary responsibilities are as follows:

• Provide administrative support for the Rich Hill operation

• Compiling and reporting production statistics

• Tracking equipment utilization, production costs, and man hours

• Processing vendor invoices and purchase orders on a daily basis

• Purchasing of parts and safety supplies

• Maintaining equipment down time reports

• Processing and maintaining payroll

• Liaise with the public regarding general inquiries

• Provide operational support for the scale house

• Support with the truck ticketing process

• Perform related job duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Solid organizational skills

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to changing business situations

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written

• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required

• This position requires someone who can sit for a long period of time, stand, and lift boxes occasionally

• Experience with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Engineering & Construction Management System is a plus

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
