Job Summary:

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a physician assistant to join a well-established orthopedic trauma surgeon in Conroe.

Qualified candidates:

  • APP with orthopedic surgery experience preferred.

  • Open to new grads

  • Certification as a PA

  • Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license

  • Must have strong orthopedic experience or passion for orthopedic surgery.

Responsibilities:

  • Typical schedule is 7 days on/7 days off

  • 12 hour shifts from 7am-7pm

  • Assist in the Operating Room with procedures, positioning, and closures

  • Assist in clinical setting with patient issues and prescriptions

  • Evaluate independent Orthopedic Consults in Emergency Department

  • Pre-op and Post-op orders

  • Schedule surgical cases
