WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER The Associate Director of Communications NatureVest implements and manages communication strategies and plans that align with the overall goals for an operating unit, program initiative.The Associate Director of Communications for NatureVest reports into the Director of Marketing and Communications, Transformative Strategies and sits within the Global Marketings and Communications (GMC) team. They develop, implement, and manage multi-year marketing and communications strategy to help deliver NatureVest's investment and business development objectives, in support of TNC's 2030 Goals. The role will collaborate with NatureVest leadership to agree on outcomes to drive awareness and influence with key audiences, while also supporting NatureVest's communications obligations under its closed impact investment portfolio.As the Associate Director of Communications for NatureVest, you will: Designs, develops, implements, and manages a multi-year marketing and communications strategy for NatureVest Identifies and tracks the key audiences that we need to reach and influence to achieve our 2030 Goals Develops a clear and compelling narrative for NatureVest that resonates with investors/partners Map an events-centered strategy: where and how NV should show up at global conferences and events Work with the wider Marketing and Communications (MAC) Division to optimize the right channels in support of outcomes.  Collaborate with GMC colleagues on major conservation announcements that involve NatureVest, to communicate complex deals  Manages one member of staff, accountable for the delivery of agreed key results, and budget allocation WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU The ideal candidate will have all or some of these qualifications. If you don't have all of them, apply anyway and tell us about your skills and experience:  Multi-lingual skills appreciated. Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.  A track record of managing deal communications and in-depth knowledge of the finance sector, particularly impact investing, sustainable businesses and multi-stakeholder deals  Extensive experience in financial communications - this could be in-house or with an agency.  Experience in project management, developing communications, media and engagement strategies and measuring results.  Experience cultivating and managing client relationships and working with C-suite leadership Experience developing, implementing and measuring communication and ngagement plans/strategies.  Communication and presentation skills. Ability to persuasively convey the mission of The Nature Conservancy to diverse groups including donors, board members, and the public.  Demonstrated ability in managing the fiduciary aspects of planning and delivery of budgets. Excellent writing, presentation, communication, mediation and negotiation skills. Familiarity with communication technologies and best practices. Experience and/or understanding of communication best practices at a decentralized organization a plus. Expert knowledge of current and evolving trends in relevant marketing disciplines. Cross disciplinary knowledge to support program objectives.  Management experience that includes ability to lead, motivate, set objectives and manage performance and conflict resolution. Fosters an environment of creativity and professional growth.  WHAT YOU'LL BRING  Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience supervising staff and teams.  Experience cultivating and managing client relationships.  Experience in project management, developing marketing strategies and measuring results. SALARY INFORMATION This position may be based in any country where TNC has an established entity, taking into consideration legal restrictions, such as non-national ratios and immigration processing times. For U.S. based applicants only, the starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $73,000- 115,000 for annual base salary and is based on location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. For all other applicants, pay ranges will be in local currency, the pay range will be based on the local labor market, and not tied to the above pay range. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment and used to determine your actual pay range.
