Commercial Middle Market Relationship Manager

Identifies and pursues new sales prospects within existing or untapped markets. Gathers market intelligence, generates leads, and develops proposals/campaigns to garner new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Uses knowledge of markets, industries, and clients to determine demand, future trends and potential projects. Works pre-developed lead lists to generate business and identify new customer prospects.

Responsible for client relationships, including attracting and retaining new clients and strengthening current relationships. Activities include maximizing cross-sales opportunities through customer profiling with the ultimate goal of cultivating interest in other business banking products. Provides support to help clients coordinate solutions, manage accounts, obtain advice and administer services. Ensures customer questions and issues are answered correctly and efficiently by documenting and identifying trends in customer service needs. Resolves and oversees customer issues surrounding consulting, information, and software services, solutions and products. Makes presentations to potential clients and contributes to the achievement of sales targets.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Serves as primary contact with assigned prospective and current customers for all of the financial, banking, and investment counseling needs.

Visits clients to understand and assess their current situation and future needs.

Identifies business needs and corresponding sales opportunities and actively promotes ways to increase customer reliance on Company products and services, capitalizing on the unique and comprehensive capabilities of the Company.

Assists in obtaining financial statements, tax returns, and other credit information and maintaining individual credit files for all existing customers.

Participates in analysis of pertinent credit information and/or credit checks.

Collaborates in write up of all Credit Requests, Variances and other correspondence related to the relationship. Presents credits at loan committee.

Works with loan administration in the review and negotiation of loan documents.

Manages existing portfolio and stays informed on their condition is aware of developing trends in the market which may impact credit quality.

Prepares quarterly loan reports on existing portfolio.

Assists in pitchbook generation.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field.

Work Experience:

9+ years of experience as a commercial banking relationship manager/business development officer.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to prospect and network at various levels within a company.

Demonstrates ability to manage time effectively to balance new & existing relationships to meet goals.

Demonstrates excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Demonstrates knowledge of bank products, services, and bank operations.

Demonstrates proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Expertise in Commercial Loan structure and documentation.

Strong attention to detail in order to maintain high level of data integrity.

Strong comfort and familiarity with use and application of commercial lending principles.

Strong customer service and telephone skills.

Strong knowledge of Commercial Line of Business.

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Demonstrates ability to be self-starter and show initiative.

Demonstrates thorough understanding of credit underwriting.

Working Conditions:

Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$112,500.00 USD

Maximum:

$195,000.00 USD

Primary Location: Conshohocken, PA, Conshohocken Ridge Pike

Other Locations: Pennsylvania-Conshohocken
