Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Receptionist in our Chemicals Manufacturing industry located in CONSHOHOCKEN, Pennsylvania, 19428-2307, United States. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company. Your duties include offering administrative support across the organization, coordinating front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for our company, greeting visitors and providing them with necessary information.

• Manage the phone system, operate it effectively, and transfer calls as required.

• Perform various administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Teams to perform tasks and manage information.

• Oversee the sorting and distribution of mail and packages through UPS.

• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.

• Utilize basic office skills to carry out daily tasks and operations.

• Manage data entry tasks effectively, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Show strong time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.

• Have reliable transportation for commuting to work.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Experience in a receptionist or similar role is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills are essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

• Must demonstrate a friendly demeanor.

• Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Strong customer service skills are necessary.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.

• Knowledge of the chemical's manufacturing industry is a plus.

• Ability to handle incoming calls and route them to the appropriate party.

• Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and printers.
