Job Summary

Join Acuity Brands as a Senior Product Manager to spearhead our initiatives in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain and beyond.

We are seeking an innovative and dedicated professional to lead the integration of the P2P process within GEP Smart, tightly coupled with our new cloud ERP's AP module and existing Oracle EBS framework. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring these integrations enhance our operational workflows, improve financial accuracy, and maintain compliance. Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Financial System Integration : Lead the integration of the P2P process within GEP SMART aligned with our cloud-based ERP system's Accounts Payable module and Oracle EBS. Ensure the solution meets our business needs and compliance standards.

  • Project Accounting Ownership : Take full ownership of the project accounting implementation and product roadmap, delivering solutions that enhance project tracking and financial reporting.

  • Collaboration Across Teams : Build and maintain strong relationships with Tech, Finance, and operations teams to ensure the integrated solutions support cross-functional needs. Facilitate stakeholder meetings to align on goals, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution : Over time, take ownership of and manage the product roadmap for additional finance domains (ex: Tax, Treasury), identifying opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements.

  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks associated with system integrations and process changes. Develop proactive strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Performance Tracking : Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the integrated financial systems. Regularly review performance data to guide continuous improvement efforts.

  • Change Management : Lead change management activities to promote adoption of the new systems and processes. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth transitions and sustained benefits.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, specifically with financial systems and ERP integrations

  • Project Management Skills: Strong capability in managing complex projects involving multiple system integrations.

  • In-depth Knowledge of P2P Processes and ERP Systems

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities

  • Effective Communication and Collaboration Skills

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field

  • Experience with GEP SMART and cloud ERP solutions

  • Experience with Project Accounting ERP solutions

  • Proven track record of successful financial system transformations

The range for this position is $112,200.00 to $252,200.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
