Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Programmer/Analyst 3 in Cookeville, Tennessee. The individual in this role will be responsible for various tasks related to Linux operating systems, including installation and monitoring, addressing client needs, and resolving user issues. This role also involves collaboration with other IT professionals to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers in a Linux environment

• Monitor server health through both automated and manual processes

• Develop and implement infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools

• Collaborate with team members or other IT departments to create test automation frameworks

• Develop tools to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the existing infrastructure

• Maintain software repositories and apply software updates

• Resolve user issues and address change management requests

• Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs

• Work on server OS maintenance and upgrades

• Utilize knowledge of databases such as SQL, Oracle, or DB2. Requirements • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation

• Familiarity with established procedures and ability to devise new ones

• Strong understanding of database design and management

• Proficiency in MySQL and SQL

• Proficiency in Python programming language

• Experience with Oracle database management system

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and their usage

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members

• Experience in managing system upgrades

• Proficiency in managing servers

• Experience with configuration management tools

• Understanding of design concepts and their application

• Familiarity with various operating systems

• Experience in change management processes

• Proven ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment

• Proficiency in Linux operating system

• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems

• Experience with Linux technologies

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server

• Experience with Assertion Markup Language

• Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management
