Title: Kitchen Utility Worker

Starting Pay:* $16.00/hr.*

Shift:** 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) or 2nd Shift (11:00am - 7:30pm)

Job Duties:

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote an enjoyable and welcome dining experience
• Work closely with Executive Chef and Assistant General Manager to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs
• Maintain kitchen is in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned
• Ensure that food is stored correctly
• Assist with dining room cleaning, bussing tables, setting tables, and assisting wait staff
• Prepare, wash and store dished
• Attend pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen before meal service

Qualifications:

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematic skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and residents
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
• Ability to retain orders
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• High school diploma preferred
