Overview

Position Summary:

Primary responsibility for leading the CSC cloud initiative and providing a detailed understanding and guidance of cloud software platform and infrastructure services.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Lead cultural change for migrating monolithic applications to the cloud

• Develop cloud strategy related to tool automation, VM deployment, container deployment, security, cost management and cloud operations.

• Collaborate and drive initiatives with internal and external teams

• Drive innovation and platform evolution

• Provide leadership and mentorship both to internal and external teams to ensure solutions are in line with the architectural direction

Key Management Responsibilities:

• Work closely with CSC partners companies and external contractors

• Track activities and schedule contractor work to meet deadlines

• Implement, communicate, and maintain Company practices, policies, and procedures

What we’re looking for

Required Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in related field; with 15+ years of progressive design and implementation experience with enterprise back end systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on architectural experience on cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience working with Containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)

• Experience in deploying cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline definition and deployment

• Experience in executing projects using Agile Scrum methodology

• Experience with various project management tools like Atlassian JIRA and Confluence

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures

• Proven ability to effectively present information to management and groups of employees

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communicator with excellent influencing skills
